HAMAR Centre for Socio-economic and Environmental Studies (H CSES) is a non-governmental organization registered in Somalia. A global partnership to protect the dignity of the environment, which provides neutral, evidence-based research for Somalia’s development. We strive to influence national development strategies, donor programming, and local governance through high-quality, context-sensitive studies. Our commitment lies in serving the Somali community and contributing to a resilient and sustainable future.

 

Core Areas of Research
H CSES focuses on three primary research areas, addressing critical challenges and opportunities in Somalia’s development landscape.

 

A. Socio-economic Development Research

 

This area explores various aspects of socio-economic development, focusing on improving livelihoods and ensuring inclusive growth:

Research Methodology and Engagement Strategy

HISES employs a rigorous and comprehensive research methodology to ensure the validity and reliability of our findings. Our approach includes:
